DevOps Engineer

to join our product development team based in Belgrade. Working as a DevOps Engineer in the Agile/SCRUM projects, you will plan and coordinate your own tasks and collaborate with teams responsible in maintaining existing and developing new features and solutions in a team effort. You will get the opportunity to work on the newest Microsoft technology with numerous and highly varying tasks across our building, deploying and monitoring our product installations as well as working with new initiatives around automated release management and continuous integration on both Insicon infrastructure and cloud.

Responsibilities:

  • Day to day development, support and monitoring of our production servers (both dedicated servers and cloud) and network environment
  • Support and improve our tools for continuous build, automated testing and release management
  • Manage and improve Insicon’s release management process
  • Support of local operations and development teams in their work on databases, back-end software development, front-end websites, and other mission-critical systems
  • Participate in various projects and development groups

Knowledge and skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in maintaining web applications installations on Microsoft platform and cloud
  • Experience in automated build and deploy routines using Microsoft tools (Visual Studio, DevOps Services, SQL Server etc.)
  • As a person you are self-driven, taking initiatives and have a structured way of thinking. You focus on quality and take pride in observing agreements and deadlines. You are an inspiring team player who can work in an independent and dedicated manner when required
  • University degree in electrical/computer engineering or computer science
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills
